Podcast with Aldwyn Altuney from Media Mastery
In Media Mastery Show (Episode 15), Aldwyn Altuney interviews Soles4Souls Australia founder Dalice Kennedy, who has secured more than $100,000 in free publicity across TV, print and radio including Channel 7, Network 10 and The Age for the charity.
Working with no marketing budget, she acknowledges the important role this free publicity has had in collecting and re-distributing more than 150,000 pairs of shoes globally. In the past six months, Dalice has also had several blogs featured in Huffington Post UK, which she has used to leverage her coaching and consulting business, Brighter Realities, which she runs with her partner Mark. Early in her career, Dalice spent 3 years working for a leading PR consultancy in Adelaide, South Australia. While working in PR, Dalice’s clients spanned the property development, food and education sectors. In 2011, her career took a big turn when she led a team of Australian volunteers on various development projects in Kenya. On her return from Kenya, she founded the non-profit Soles4Souls Australia and is making a huge difference for people across Australia in 5 countries so far globally.
